IndyCar Alabama : Alex Palou en pole position à Barber ! Grosjean 8ème
Alex Palou a remis les pendules à l’heure sur le circuit de Barber lors des qualifications du GP d’Alabama. Le pilote Chip Ganassi a signé une pole magistrale devant un excellent David Malukas (Penske) et Graham Rahal (Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing). Romain Grosjean, qui a accédé à la dernière phase de la séance, a réalisé un excellent 6ème temps.
Le Children’s of Alabama Indy Grand Prix aura lieu demain à 19h00 heure française.

La pole position à Barber Motorsports Park
Alex Palou signe donc la pole position. Il s’élancera en tête demain dans le Grand Prix d’Alabama, devant David Malukas et Graham Rahal. L’Espagnol reprend la main après avoir perdu la victoire au profit de Kyle Kirkwood dans les derniers tours à Arlington. Kirkwood, lui, leader du championnat, conclut la séance à la 5ème place.
Déception chez Arrow McLaren avec les 10ème et 12ème places de Christian Lundgaard et Pato O’Ward
Mick Schumacher, 20ème, continue son apprentissage de la discipline.
